Principal's Message

It is with great pleasure we welcome you to Strafford Middle School.  We believe we are the BEST middle school in the state of Missouri and believe in our students.  We recognize middle school is an exciting, yet challenging time for our students.  Our middle school students are trying to figure out exactly who they are, while juggling puberty, academic, and extracurricular activities. 

We love our students and strive to make sure that all of our students are successful while in our building.  Our staff, at Strafford Middle School, are truly some of the hardest working and most caring people in the state. We want the best for both our students’ minds and hearts. 

Parents, please take time to sign up for and review your child’s grades on the Parent Portal. Talk with your child about their school experiences.  Your interest and concern in their school progress will motivate them to do their best.  Also, maintain contact with your child’s teachers to establish a successful home/school connection. 

Our goal is to challenge your child academically, grow them socially and emotionally, and guide them toward independent thinking and problem solving.  Students will be encouraged to display PBiS behavior and to make good choices that will result in successful outcomes.  We are looking forward to filling them with enriching activities and learning experiences that will help your child display “Indian Pride!”
